 Adriatic Sea Defense & Aerospace Welcome to the Second Edition of Adriatic Sea Defense & Aerospace! International tri-service defense Exhibition and Conference dedicated to Defense, Aerospace, Homeland Security and Safety & Security, will be held at Split. ASDA 2013 is officially supported by the Croatian Government through: Ministry of Defense. On April 3rd 2008, Croatia, the host country for the ASDA 2013 Exhibition was formally invited to join NATO. The formalization of this process is expected before the April 2009 NATO summit. Furthermore, Croatia has been approved to become the European Union’s 28th member, and this is expected in 2012 or 2013. The Croatian Armed Forces Long-Term Development Plan 2006-2015, already approved by the government, details the acquisitions required to substantially modernize the Armed Forces at an expected cost of approximately US$ 4.0 billion. The modernization plans include ongoing and future expected procurements in all 3 major defense sectors: air, land and navy. ASDA is a decided tri-service defense exhibition.
